Join our Chief Security Office (CSO) team at AXA Belgium, where we oversee all activities across the organization to deliver, maintain, assure, and demonstrate adequate protection and continuity of AXA Belgium information, employees, and services. In the CSO’s Business Security domain, our mission is to deeply understand AXA Belgium’s business processes and their utilization of IT applications and third-party services. We want to provide comprehensive, end-to-end security advice, and to steer implementation of risk-based security strategies tailored to the needs of the business and the status of these assets.
As the Business Security domain manager in the CSO department, you will play a crucial role in defining, delivering, and maintaining security objectives aligned with AXA Group instructions, market security standards (ISO27K), and regulatory expectations (DORA). Your responsibilities will include:
Leadership and Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of Security Oversight Experts, ensuring thorough security evaluations of all business initiatives, providing effective third-party security risk management (vendors, distribution, outsourcing), coordinating adequate business continuity plans, and understanding business needs towards IT.
Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a trusted contact point for all Business Units within AXA Belgium, offering insightful risk-based security advice while fostering strong collaboration with key stakeholders across Procurement, Transformation, Privacy/Data/AI, Business, and IT.
Tool Management: Be local entity owner of security tools and processes used in Business Security domain, ensuring their effectiveness and alignment with organizational needs.
Reporting and Compliance: Maintain a coherent and exhaustive documentation of processes and evidences of all Business Security domain activities/controls; Ensure timely and accurate reporting to both AXA Group and local management, while also assisting in direct interactions with regulatory bodies.
As a Senior Security Oversight Manager, you will be accountable for a significant part of the CSO scope, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the AXA Belgium landscape. Working closely together with the other CSO domains (Information Security, Cyber Security, Physical Security & Operational Resilience, and Security GRC), you will create bridges, facilitate collaboration, and present key insights to top management, while driving a multi-year security roadmap, helping to secure funding and addressing organizational challenges.

For this role of Business Security Expert, we are looking for someone who has
A bachelor degree in computer sciences, technology or a related area; an education on Security topics is an asset
At least 5 years experience in a similar function;
A certification in the Information Security and/or Information Technology is a distinct advantage;
Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written in French and/or Dutch, and fluent English;
Experience in a multinational business is an advantage;
A strong facilitator, negotiator and focused on resolving conflicts;
A good ability to work at management level;
A real team player;
The capability of thinking analytically in order to grasp complex business scenarios.
