Incident Response Consultant – Infosec

Are you interested in working in a firm with a leading role in the information security and cyber crime fighting arena? As an IR Consultant in the Infosec sector you’ll be taking on an important role into advising on and implementing processes and products, taking measures, responding to incidents and analyzing threats.

A little bit more about the role:

• Investigations on incidents (host/network based) – understanding compromise level, impact and attributes of type and methods of attack
• Develop and implement best practices in forensic investigation, incident response techniques
• Create reports and present outcomes, future improvement measures and build knowledge base
• Translate system/networks security needs into tools/products offered by the firm, and help clients using these technologies get the most out of them

Some of the requirements:

• Relevant experience in a similar role or ability to apply prior experience/ knowledge
• Certifications/Relevant training – experience a plus: GIAC, GCFA, GIAC, GREM , CEH, or other relevant certifications
• Malware/Security experience and some programming or scripting (Perl, or Python) experience desirable but not a hard requirement
