Head of Defence & Security Sales
Like any great technology, it can do right and wrong. The steep rise of drones have resulted in a broad need to monitor and counter them. This so-called CUAS market ranged from protecting prisons, oil and gas installations and airports, to policing and defence. Netherlands based Robin Radar Systems is specialized in drone radars and one of the fastest growing players in this field.
You will play a pivotal role in Robin’s growth in the Counter Drone market. Further develop a team that will take our international sales to the next level. Amaze clients, and help shape the future of technology.
We are looking for an accomplished and dynamic Head of Sales with a proven sales track record, in an international environment. The ideal candidate will have expertise in leading and developing sales teams. Having a strong background in managing clients and partners in defence and security markets, such as governments and large system integrators. Exceptional communication skills, a compelling screen presence, and strategic thinking to drive business growth are essential.
As our Sales leader in Defence and Security markets, you will be a key representative of Robin in our domain, and play a crucial role in expanding our business.
You will report directly to our Chief Commercial Officer, collaborating with our Marketing, Bid Management, Technical Sales and other support teams in the Netherlands.
Responsibilities:
Implement and spearhead the company’s Go to Market strategy to roll out drone detection radar solutions with Defence & Security customers and partners;
Meet or exceed our targets;
Implement and maintain a data-driven sales strategy, focusing on funnel KPIs to maximize efficiency and effectiveness;
Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing Go to Market team that is as passionate and driven as you are;
Build a strong culture amongst the local team, maintaining alignment and fostering collaboration;
Be a brand ambassador for Robin Radar, playing a pivotal role in spreading its influence among customers, technology partners and distribution channels.
20 years of international sales experience; at least 5 years of sales management;
Proven success with Governmental / Military clients;
Experience in leading high-performing sales teams, preferably within a dynamic environment;
Track record with hiring and retaining talents;
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills;
Excellent communication and presentation abilities;
Passion for (radar) technology. Although you may not be an engineer, you are able to understand and communicate technology;
Communication skills in English: written, verbal and presentation. Dutch/other languages is a plus;
Availability to travel as needed.
