We are looking for an OT Security Expert for our client in Eindhoven.

Location: Eindhoven / Rotterdam / Remote
Start date: a.s.a.p.
Period: 3 months (with option to extend)
Contract hours: 32-40
Hourly rate: Competitive

Project description
For one of our customers, we are responsible for the inventory, classification and detection of our customer’s OT environment (networks, assets, systems and devices, users, and data). This project is part of a larger program; the OT Security Program, that has been initiated to improve our customer’s security posture and enable business continuity by making its OT environment more cyber secure. Furthermore, we define, plan, and implement measures to secure our customer’s assets and systems via remediation activities such as hardening, patching, backups, whitelisting, etc. we are looking for a pragmatic OT security expert to guide our customer and our team members in a pragmatic way.

Activities

Risk Assessment: Perform thorough risk assessments and vulnerability analyses for industrial control systems, identifying potential threats and proposing effective mitigation strategies;

Incident Response: Lead and engage in incident response activities, investigating and resolving security incidents within OT environments promptly and effectively;

Security Architecture: Design and implement robust OT architectures, ensuring the seamless integration of cybersecurity measures into system development and deployment;

Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to relevant cybersecurity standards and regulations governing OT systems, including NIST and IEC 62443.

Competence

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.

Minimal 3-5 years of relevant work experience in mid-size to large organizations.

Pragmatic mentality with strong communication skills.

Likes to teach/mentor other team members.

Extensive experience in OT security, specializing in industrial control systems.

Profound knowledge of OT protocols, network architecture, and ICS components.

Required certification: IEC 62443, preferred certifications: CISSP, GICSP.

Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).

The candidate has a hands-on mindset, a strong customer- and problem-solving orientation, showing fast results. To achieve the project goals, the candidate can liaise directly with all stakeholders and has a clear focus on results and quality.
